The Rome Chamber Music Festival is pleased to announce that it will return to the Palazzo Barberini and its original stage in the Salone da Pietro Cortona for the 2019 season.
This year the festival will offer a special edition that features its De Simone & Partners Young Artist Program. We will welcome back young artists from past programs and the concerts will be performed solely by them, Robert McDuffie, and the 2019 winners. They will perform Aaron Copland’s chamber version of Appalachian Spring, Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, and Mendelssohn’s celebrated Octet on June 16th and 17th. Rehearsals are open to the public and will take place June 11th to June 17th. Open rehearsals to the public will begin on June 12 . The June 16th concert is by invitation only and tickets to the June 17th concert will be available through our website and select box offices in March.
