Opportunity to Study and Perform at the Rome Chamber Music Festival
Applications will be accepted November 15, 2011 to February 15, 2012

Dedicated to nurturing new talent, each year the Rome Chamber Music Festival invites a select number of promising young musicians from the United States and Europe to partake in its educational program. Our Master Classes, which are instructed by the artists performing at the Festival, afford participants the privilege of studying with world-renown musicians and the opportunity to perform concerts for the public.

This year, the Rome Chamber Music Festival will welcome seventeen young performers to participate in the Master Classes. Nine positions have already been offered to students at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. The remaining eight positions are open to anyone under the age of 28. The Festival will select two violinists, two violists, three cellists, and one flutist.

To apply, you must submit an audition via DVD or YouTube link. Along with your audition, please include your name, age, address, and school information and send via email to info@romechamberfestival.org or via mail to:
Rome Chamber Music Festival
Attention: Ms. Jacopa Stinchelli

Winners will have their names listed in the Festival program. Accommodations will be provided if participants live outside of Rome. Please note that all other costs, such as transportation to the Festival and meals, are at the participant’s expense. If you have questions, please email info@romechamberfestival.org.

We look forward to meeting you in Rome!
